VALEO IT at the network conference in Munich

Last week, VALEO IT Services International GmbH presented the "Rent-A-Bauhof" project together with Markt Luhe-Wildenau and a student from OTH Amberg-Weiden at the "Digitalization in Bavarian Municipalities" network conference at the Design Offices in Munich. The conference focused on the needs of the municipalities and innovative solutions. The ten smartest ideas from the winners of the ideas competition "Kommunal? Digital" ideas competition were presented. Together with the municipality of Luhe-Wildenau, VALEO IT Services International was one of the winners.

In addition, the topic of digitalization and the challenges and opportunities for Bavarian municipalities was an important part of this day. Behind "Kommunal? Digital!" is an ideas competition sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs, which was launched at the end of 2020. A total of 75 project submissions were received that deal with digital solutions and their practical implementation for greater sustainability in Bavarian municipalities.

The ten projects recognized by the jury are now in the middle of the three-year project term until 2024 and will ultimately serve as best practices for other municipalities. The employees of VALEO IT Services International GmbH involved are looking forward to continuing their project work with the municipality and OTH Amberg-Weiden.
