VALEO IT at the Network Conference in Munich

Last week, VALEO IT Services International GmbH had the opportunity to present the „Rent-A-Bauhof“ project at the network conference „Digitalization in Bavarian Municipalities“ at Design Offices Munich, alongside the municipality of Luhe-Wildenau and a student from OTH Amberg-Weiden. The conference focused on the needs of municipalities and innovative solutions. The ten smartest ideas from the winners of the “Kommunal? Digital!” idea competition were presented on-site. Together with the municipality of Luhe-Wildenau, VALEO IT Services International counts itself among the winners.

In addition, the topic of digitalization and the challenges and opportunities for Bavarian municipalities was an important part of this day. Behind “Kommunal? Digital!” is an ideas competition, funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs, which started at the end of 2020. A total of 75 project submissions were received, dealing with digital solutions and their practical implementation for greater future viability in Bavarian municipalities.

The ten projects awarded by the jury are now at the midpoint of their three-year project duration until 2024 and will ultimately serve as best practices for other municipalities. The employees involved from VALEO IT Services International GmbH look forward to continuing the project work with the municipality and OTH Amberg-Weiden.
