The East Bavarian Technical University of Amberg-Weiden (OTH), in cooperation with VALEO IT Service International GmbH and regional municipal works departments, has launched the pioneering project "Rent a Bauhof". A central aspect of the project is the flexible use of municipal works department resources. The project group emerged as the winner of the statewide idea competition "Kommunal? Digital!" (Municipal? Digital!). The funded project "Rent a Bauhof" creates an online platform where municipalities throughout the district can utilize a pool of municipal works department vehicles and equipment that would otherwise often remain unused throughout the year.

The students of the Master's program in International Business and Technology Management have successfully completed a study project in collaboration with VALEO IT Services International GmbH from Luhe-Wildenau. The project's goal was to create a Success Story that highlights the successful partnership and the solutions implemented by VALEO IT for Peter Pane, one of the most renowned restaurant chains in Germany.
