Digital Minister in Luhe-Wildenau

Project "Rent a Bauhof"

23.03.2023 | Germany

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Digital Minister Judith Gerlach and the mayor of the market town of Luhe-Wildenau, Sebastian Hartl and Deputy District Administrator Albert Nickl, to VALEO IT Services International GmbH. Of course, the students from OTH Amberg-Weiden who were involved in the project were also there.

As a project group, we were winners of the Bavarian-wide ideas competition "Kommunal? Digital!". The funded project "Rent a Bauhof" creates an online platform on which municipalities can help themselves to a pool of building yard vehicles and equipment across counties that would otherwise often be idle throughout the year.

The project also inspired Digital Minister Judith Gerlach, who wanted to personally thank all those involved in the project for the idea and the progress of digitalization. We as VALEO IT would also like to say "thank you" for the excellent motivation and commitment of the students.
