The Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden (OTH) has launched the pioneering "Rent a Bauhof" project in collaboration with VALEO IT Service International GmbH and regional building yards. A central aspect of the project is the flexible use of building yard resources. The project group emerged as the winner of the Bavaria-wide ideas competition "Kommunal? Digital!" competition. The funded "Rent a Bauhof" project creates an online platform on which municipalities throughout the district can use a pool of building yard vehicles and equipment that would otherwise often remain unused throughout the year.
The students of the International Business and Technology Management Master's program have successfully completed a study project in cooperation with VALEO IT Services International GmbH from Luhe-Wildenau. The aim of the project was to create a success story highlighting the successful partnership and the solutions implemented by VALEO IT for Peter Pane, one of the most renowned restaurant chains in Germany.
