We are pleased to announce that VALEO IT Group is the proud main partner of the up-and-coming racing club RSC 1988. The team is made up of talented and dedicated riders who compete in regional and national races. Their dedication and team spirit are inspiring and reflect our corporate values. According to co-organizer Florian Kuhn, the background to the cooperation is the stated desire to bring cycling in the region to a higher level of performance. "We want to support young people in particular, who have met through cycling, and enable them to take part in top-class competitions and races," says Kuhn.
For example, the cooperation with the VALEO IT Group now makes it possible for the racing team to participate in licensed races and in the German national league of the German Cycling Federation (BDR). This makes “Valeo IT by RSC 88” the only Bavarian team in the German national cycling league.
The “Valeo IT by RSC 88” team of riders includes the reigning Bavarian champion Tobias Kreuzer (22 years old). The rest of the team is completed by Florian Grillmeier (27 years), Tobias Halbig (29), Paul Feuerer (21), Paul Funke (21), Lukas Werth (28), Markus Reh (27), Johannes Glameyer (24), Florian Holzapfel (26), Ulli Scharl (29) and Wolfgang Himmler (28). The team’s next sporting goals are to defend its Bavarian championship title in Karbach, the 24 Hours of Kelheim and the Tour of the Oder. Participation in the German road championship in Bad Dürrheim is also planned.

The event was packed with interesting presentations and conversations at our booth, which provided us with valuable insights for our service business. One of the highlights was the opportunity to network with other exhibitors and participants, where we were able to exchange experiences and learn about their products and services. We gained valuable new contacts and insights that we hope to further develop and work with in the future.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Digital Minister Judith Gerlach and the mayor of the market town of Luhe-Wildenau, Sebastian Hartl and Deputy District Administrator Albert Nickl, to VALEO IT Services International GmbH. Of course, the students from OTH Amberg-Weiden who were involved in the project were also there. As a project group, we were winners of the Bavarian-wide ideas competition "Kommunal? Digital!". The funded project "Rent a Bauhof" creates an online platform on which municipalities can help themselves to a pool of building yard vehicles and equipment across counties that would otherwise often be idle throughout the year. The project also inspired Digital Minister Judith Gerlach, who wanted to personally thank all those involved in the project for the idea and the progress of digitalization. We as VALEO IT would also like to say "thank you" for the excellent motivation and commitment of the students.

Last week, VALEO IT Services International GmbH had the opportunity to present the project "Rent-A-Bauhof" together with the market Luhe-Wildenau and a student of the OTH Amberg-Weiden at the network conference "Digitalization in Bavarian Municipalities" in the Design Offices Munich. The needs of the municipalities as well as innovative approaches to solutions were the focus of this conference. On site, the ten smartest ideas from the winners of the ideas competition "Kommunal? Digital!" ideas competition were presented. Together with the municipality of Luhe-Wildenau, VALEO IT Services International was one of the winners.
Furthermore, the topic of digitalization and the challenges and opportunities for Bavarian municipalities was an important part of this day.
Behind “Kommunal? Digital!” is an ideas competition sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs, which started at the end of 2020. A total of 75 project submissions were received, all of which dealt with digital solutions and their practical implementation for greater sustainability in Bavarian municipalities. The ten projects honored by the jury are now in the middle of the three-year project period until 2024 and will ultimately serve as best practices for other municipalities.
The participating employees of VALEO IT Services International GmbH are looking forward to further project work with the municipality and the OTH Amberg-Weiden.

Luhe-Wildenau is one of the winners of the Bavarian-wide ideas competition "Kommunal? Digital!". In total, more than 75 projects had applied. The winners were then selected by a jury chaired by Digital Minister Judith Gerlach and made up of representatives of the leading municipal associations and a representative of the business community.
Municipal building yards require various machines to perform their extensive activities. Some of these machines are very specialized, expensive to purchase and maintain, and are often only needed a few days a year. Using an online platform, municipalities should be able to offer their machines and vehicles to other municipalities for loan. Thanks to the web-based platform, the machines and the conditions can be presented clearly. The booking, issue, return and billing of the equipment is paperless. The goal is to achieve resource savings and better utilization of existing machines.
The students’ tasks are to carry out a market analysis, define a project name, research and evaluate comparable applications, and draw up a plan for setting up the application and process structures. This also involves checking the legal requirements, which must be complied with.

Bavaria's Best 50 award
50 fastest-growing medium-sized companies in Bavaria

Once again this year, 50 medium-sized companies from all over Bavaria were honored in the BAYERNS BEST 50 competition. This honor is awarded independently and according to objective criteria by the Bavarian State Ministry to the 50 fastest-growing medium-sized companies in Bavaria. Future viability and economic stability were important selection criteria. The award is given to companies that have been able to increase their number of employees as well as their sales and earnings at an above-average rate over the last five years. As one of the award winners, VALEO IT Personalservice GmbH fulfills the required criteria without exception.
The winners were honored by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology on October 4, 2021 at a festive awards ceremony in the Kaisersaal of the Munich Residence. The coveted prize in the form of a Bavarian porcelain lion and the award certificate was accepted by Managing Director Bastian Braun from the hands of Bavarian State Secretary Roland Weigert.

ISO certification describes the process by which a company obtains proof of conformity, confirming that ISO standards are met. As an established and experienced IT partner, VALEO IT offers industry-independent IT solutions. Our customers include small and medium-sized enterprises as well as globally operating corporations, public authorities and public institutions.
A learning and continuously improving organisation needs a good quality management system. Ours has now been certified according to ISO 9001:2015 by the independent auditors of TÜV SÜD AG. The certification confirms that VALEO IT has introduced and successfully applies an efficient quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
The certificate covers the scope “IT services in the areas of consulting, service and support as well as software development”.
Annual monitoring audits will follow. With our quality standards, we also want to maintain and further develop a high standard of our company services in the future.
