Last week we had the opportunity to meet the students from Politehnica University and West University from Tmisoara which graduated the summer technical trainings program with our partner Savnet Training Center. Savnet Training Center is an educational institution founded in Timisoara, Romania. They focus on delivering IT&C trainings to people who want to start a career or to gain new skills in this area.
The VALEO IT-Experts from our location in Timisoara presented the company VALEO IT Services International GmbH and the top career opportunities and of course answered all the students' questions. The highlight of the visit was the exciting insight into the programming area in some of our IT-Projects.

Digitalization in Bavarian municipalities
VALEO IT en la conferencia de la red en Múnich

La semana pasada, VALEO IT Services International GmbH tuvo la oportunidad de presentar el proyecto "Rent-A-Bauhof" junto con el mercado Luhe-Wildenau y un estudiante de la OTH Amberg-Weiden en la conferencia en red "Digitalización en los municipios bávaros" en las Oficinas de Diseño de Múnich. Esta conferencia se centró en las necesidades de los municipios y en enfoques innovadores para encontrar soluciones. Allí mismo se presentaron las diez ideas más inteligentes de los ganadores del concurso de ideas "Kommunal? Digital!". Junto con el municipio de Luhe-Wildenau, VALEO IT Services International fue uno de los ganadores.
Furthermore, the topic of digitalization and the challenges and opportunities for Bavarian municipalities was an important part of this day.
Behind “Kommunal? Digital!” is an ideas competition sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs, which started at the end of 2020. A total of 75 project submissions were received, all of which dealt with digital solutions and their practical implementation for greater sustainability in Bavarian municipalities.
The ten projects honored by the jury are now in the middle of the three-year project period until 2024 and will ultimately serve as best practices for other municipalities.
The participating employees of VALEO IT Services International GmbH are looking forward to further project work with the municipality and the OTH Amberg-Weiden.
