In collaboration with OTH Weiden-Amberg, we are researching new technologies and market trends in the field of IT service provision. The research project \"AI-supported automation in the service desk\" is already the fifth successful cooperation between VALEO IT Services International GmbH and OTH Weiden-Amberg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After initial discussions with the Technical University in March 2025, the kick-off with the student group took place in our building on Thursday, April 3, 2025. The project will run until summer 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the aim of the project?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project is primarily concerned with providing fact-based answers to the following questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How can AI make IT support more efficient?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How can processes be automated with the help of AI?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How can service quality be improved?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the core content of the project?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Essentially, it is a market analysis with a focus on \"AI in the service desk\". The following aspects are particularly considered within the study project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Which technologies dominate AI-supported service provision?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where is the market heading in the area of AI-supported end user support?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What is the overall acceptance of open source\/cloud-based systems and AI solutions?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are there differences in the need for the use of AI solutions in different industries? <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Practice meets science - a win-win situation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The results of the study project support the decision-making process for IT projects in the operational area of VALEO IT Services International GmbH.
