Your personal data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of effectively and correctly handling the application process and for contacting you within the scope of the application process (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, we process your data when we have a legal obligation to do so, particularly under labor law. For special categories of personal data pursuant to Art. 9(1) GDPR, a balancing of interests also takes place, meaning data processing only occurs if your legitimate interests do not prevail (Art. 6(1)(b), 88(1) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26(3) BDSG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your consent also constitutes permission for data processing. Therefore, if you have given us your consent (e.g., for longer storage of application documents in our applicant pool or for forwarding application documents to other company units), we will also process your data for this purpose (Art. 88(1) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26(2) BDSG). If we obtain your consent, we will of course inform you about the specific purpose of data processing and your right to withdraw consent. Should the consent also relate to the processing of special categories of personal data pursuant to Art. 9 GDPR, we will explicitly inform you in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Data retention period<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will store your applicant data until the application process is completed, we no longer need your data for the purposes mentioned above, or you have revoked your consent. If we enter into an employment relationship with you, the applicant data relevant for this will continue to be stored by us, provided it remains relevant for the execution of the employment relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we unfortunately have to reject your application, we will delete your application documents no later than 6 months thereafter, unless you have given us your consent to be included in our applicant pool and the associated longer storage of your application documents. In this case, we will delete your data after a maximum of 12 months or if you should revoke your consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Data recipients\/Categories of recipients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In our company, we ensure that only departments and individuals who require access to your application data for the purpose of carrying out the application process or fulfilling legal obligations are granted access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Third-country transfer\/Intention to transfer to a third country<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Data transmission to third countries (outside the European Union or the European Economic Area) will only take place if you have given us your consent or if it is legally required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do not currently transfer your personal data to any service providers or affiliated companies outside the European Economic Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rights of the data subjects<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your rights as a data subject are regulated in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To assert these rights, please contact <a href=\"mailto:datenschutz@valeo-it.com\">datenschutz@valeo-it.com<\/a>. The same applies if you have questions about data processing at our company or wish to withdraw a granted consent. Furthermore, you can lodge a complaint about data processing with a data protection supervisory authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We process your data to safeguard legitimate interests, you can object to this processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this <\/strong><strong>This also applies to profiling based on these provisions. <\/strong><strong>We will then no longer process your personal data unless we can prove compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Obligation to provide the data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The decision on whether to establish an employment relationship with you can only be made if you provide us with certain personal data, such as your resume.
