With the certificate, VALEO IT confirms and demonstrates that it meets the defined quality management standards, sets these as targets and achieves them. A recognized accreditation body (TÜV Süd Management Services GmbH) determines compliance with the standard requirements as part of an external audit and checks this on an ongoing basis in annual surveillance audits.

VALEO IT extends its quality management system to the areas of "IT services in the fields of consulting, service and support as well as software development". In ISO 9001, topics such as risk management, service provider management, process management and organizational management are of central importance.
