Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming the Bavarian State Minister for Digital Affairs, Fabian Mehring, to VALEO IT Services International GmbH. The "Rent a Bauhof" project is a proud part of the ideas competition "Kommunal? Digital!" ideas competition organized by the Ministry of Digital Affairs. A total of ten innovative projects were selected to promote digitalization and sustainability in Bavarian municipalities. Under the leadership of Mayor Sebastian Hartl, a platform was developed that enables municipalities to efficiently share construction vehicles and equipment, conserve resources and promote digitalization on site. Students on the Master's degree course in Intercultural Business and Technology Management, led by Prof. Dr. Frank Schäfer, have successfully completed a study project in collaboration with VALEO IT Services International GmbH from Luhe-Wildenau. We are pleased to announce that VALEO IT Group is the proud main partner of the up-and-coming racing club RSC 1988. According to co-organizer Florian Kuhn, the background to the cooperation is the declared desire to take cycling in the region to a higher level of performance. "We want to support young people in particular who have got to know each other through cycling and enable them to take part in top-class competitions and races," says Kuhn.

The cooperation with the VALEO IT Group now enables the racing team to participate in licensed races and in the Bundesliga of the German Cycling Federation (BDR). This makes "Valeo IT by RSC 88" the only Bavarian team in the national cycling league.

The rest of the team is made up of Florian Grillmeier (27), Tobias Halbig (29), Paul Feuerer (21), Paul Funke (21), Lukas Werth (28), Markus Reh (27), Johannes Glameyer (24), Florian Holzapfel (26), Ulli Scharl (29) and Wolfgang Himmler (28). The team's next sporting goals are the defense of the Bavarian championship title in Karbach, the 24-hour race in Kelheim and the Oder-Rundfahrt. Participation in the German Road Championships in Bad Dürrheim is also planned.
