A recognized accreditation agency (TÜV Süd Management Services GmbH) determines compliance with the standard requirements as part of an external audit and verifies this on an ongoing basis in annual monitoring audits.

VALEO IT extends its quality management system to the areas of "IT services in the fields of consulting, service and support as well as software development". In ISO 9001, topics such as risk management, service provider management, process management and organizational management are of central importance.
